Period of Annual Leave.Ìý23.1.1 Every employee other than a casual shall at the end of each year of his/her continuous service become entitled to four weeks annual leave on ordinary pay.
23.1.2 Provided that an employee who during the year in which his or her annual leave accrues is rostered to work ordinary hours on ten or more Saturdays or Sundays, for 4 or more hours, shall be entitled to an additional week’s leave.
Period of Annual Leave.Ìý(a) All employees (except for casual employees who are in receipt of the loading in lieu of payment for annual leave, personal/carer’s leave and for public holidays) will be entitled to four (4) weeks paid annual leave.
(b) An employee’s entitlement to paid annual leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year, in accordance with the NES.
(c) Annual leave is exclusive of public holidays that fall within the period of leave.
Period of Annual Leave.Ìýâ€�
8.1.1. Employees employed as day workers shall be entitled, for each twelve months of service, to one hundred and seventy-six hours paid Annual Leave, which shall be paid as per Clause 8.2.
8.1.2. Employees employed as shift workers shall be entitled, for each twelve months of service, to two hundred and sixteen hours paid Annual Leave which shall be paid as per Clause 8.2.
8.1.3. Employees who change from day work to shift work or vice versa will be entitled to Annual Leave calculated at the appropriate proportional rate.
8.1.4. Employees who are paid to work overtime in addition to their ordinary or rostered hours in excess of 120 hours in the Australian financial year shall be entitled to receive an additional four hours of Annual Leave accrual for each subsequent forty hours of overtime so worked. By way of example:
8.1.5. In the case of a part time Employee who has completed twelve months' service the Employee is entitled a percentage of Annual Leave equivalent to the level of part time service.
8.1.6. Casual Employees are not entitled to Annual Leave.
8.1.7. Annual Leave may be accrued up to a maximum of two years' entitlement. This may be exceeded by mutual consent of the Employer and Employee.
8.1.7.1. Except where mutual consent has been obtained when an Employee has exceeded the maximum of two years of Annual Leave entitlement the Employer shall direct the Employee to take a period of Annual Leave not less than ¼ of their Annual Leave entitlement after not less than four weeks notice.
8.1.7.1.1. When exercising this option the Employer shall have regard to the Employee’s circumstances, e.g. Leave is planned for a specific period that would be equal to or greater than the mandated ¼ entitlement.
8.1.7.1.2. Where the taking of Annual Leave has been disapproved by the Employer in order to meet operational requirements the Employee shall be allowed an additional 12 months to take their Annual Leave entitlement previously deferred. That is any Annual Leave disapproved for operational requirements shall not be used in calculating the two year maximum entitlement.
8.1.8. The Employer may direct an Employee to take a period of Annual Leave, and the Employee shall take Annual Leave, if, for that period the Employer shuts down the Enterprise, or any part of the Enterprise in which the Employee works provided that:
8.1.8.1. the notice that Annual Leave is to be taken shall be given no less that 3 months prior to the period when the leave is to be taken; a...
Period of Annual Leave.ÌýAnnual leave will be taken in no more than 3 periods per calendar year in a minimum of six (6) day blocks in accordance with the three person roster, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the Employer and Employee.
Period of Annual Leave.ÌýWeekly Shift Employees
(a) A period of 152 hours leave shall be allowed annually to a weekly shift employee. This leave will accrue on a monthly basis.
Period of Annual Leave.ÌýAll full-time Employees after completing twelve (12) months continuous service shall be entitled to 152 Hours annual leave. The parties will negotiate when leave is to be taken; such negotiations shall be in accordance with the Employers policy guidelines for The Taking of Annual Leave as varied from time to time. Part-time Employees shall be paid annual leave on a pro-rata basis Where payment is made by electronic funds transfer, payments in respect of annual leave may be throughout the period of leave in accordance with normal pay arrangements. Provided however that where an Employee requests payment in advance then such payment shall be made.

All employees (except those casual and permanent part-time employees who are in receipt of the loading for casual or permanent part-time employment, as the case may be, in lieu of payment for annual leave sick leave and for public holidays), after completing twelve monthsâ€� continuous service will be entitled to four weeks (152 hours) annual leave.
38.2.2. Where payment is made by electronic funds transfer, payments in respect of annual leave may be made throughout the period of leave in accordance with normal pay arrangements.
38.2.3. Provided however that where an employee requests payment in advance then such payment will be made.
38.2.4. Provided further that where payment continues to be made in cash or by cheque then payment in respect of annual leave will continue to be made in advance.

27.1.2 Where payment is made by electronic funds transfer, payments in respect of annual leave may be made throughout the period of leave in accordance with normal pay arrangements.
Period of Annual Leave.ÌýSubject to sub-clauses 34.1.2 and 11.1, an Employee will progressively accrue 42 calendar daysâ€� annual leave (inclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and non-Working Days) per annum (which will be credited to an Employee at the rate of 3.5 days per completed month of service). An Employee shall have the right to have a maximum of two (2) rostered days free of Duty per year to be taken before or after, or any one day before and one day after such leave period on full pay. Provided that where an Employee terminates with less than a completed year of service, such Employee will be paid pro-rata for services less than a completed year on the basis of sub-clause 34.5. When employed under the: â€� Permanent Full-time (2/1 job share Elected Lifestyle) category, annual leave will accrue at half the normal rate. â€� Permanent Full-time (3/2 job share Elected Lifestyle) category, annual leave will accrue at 2/3 the normal rate.
Period of Annual Leave.Ìý(a) All employees (except for shiftworkers [as defined] and casual employees who are in receipt of the loading in lieu of paid Annual Leave and Leave Loading, Personal/Carer’s Leave and Public Holidays) will be entitled to four (4) weeks paid Annual Leave, paid at the employee’s ordinary rate of pay as if the employee had worked instead of taking leave.
(b) Where an employee with 12 months� continuous service is engaged for part of the 12-monthly period as a shiftworker (see clause 5.6), the employee’s Annual Leave will be increased by half a day for each month the employee is continuously engaged as a shiftworker.
(c) An employee’s entitlement to paid Annual Leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the employee’s ordinary hours of work, and accumulates from year to year, in accordance with the NES.
(d) Annual Leave is exclusive of Public Holidays that fall within the period of leave.
