Accrued Annual Leave Clause Examples
The Accrued Annual Leave clause defines how employees accumulate paid leave over time based on their period of service. Typically, this clause outlines the rate at which leave is earned, how unused leave is carried over or forfeited, and the process for taking or cashing out accrued leave, such as upon resignation or termination. Its core function is to ensure both employer and employee have a clear understanding of leave entitlements, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
