Habitat restorationÌýmeans to return the site’s hydrology, topography and natural vegetative communities to historic predisturbance conditions so that the site provides food and shelter for wildlife, and performs natural processes including reducing the volume and velocity of runoff, and increasing the water infiltration rates.
