Time in Lieu Clause Examples
The 'Time in Lieu' clause allows employees to take paid time off instead of receiving overtime pay for extra hours worked. In practice, when an employee works beyond their standard hours, they accrue equivalent time off that can be taken at a later date, subject to employer approval and company policy. This clause provides flexibility for both employers and employees, helping to manage workloads and reduce overtime costs while ensuring employees are compensated for additional work.
