Street Improvements.ĚýLead Developer agrees to design and construct the following arterial street improvements through the City’s executive order construction process: a. S. 00xx Xxxxxx xxx Xxxx Xxxx Xxxx. Lead Developer will design and install new striping for the westbound to southbound left turn lane at the intersection of S. 00xx Xxxxxx xxx Xxxx Xxxx Xxxx. In addition, Lead Developer will coordinate with the City to install a new traffic signal head for westbound traffic at said intersection. The restriping of the turn lane and installation of the additional traffic signal head shall be referred to herein collectively as the “Pine Lake Road Improvementsâ€�. b. Xxxxx 00xx Xxxxxx xxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxxx. Lead Developer will design and construct or install the following improvements in South 00xx Xxxxxx xxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xxxx at the intersection of said streets. Said improvements shall be made through the City’s executive order construction process. The specific improvements are as follows: i. Design and install new traffic lane striping for the westbound to southbound left turn lane and install the associated signal head addition ii. Design and install new traffic lane striping for the eastbound to northbound left turn lane and install the associated signal head addition iii. Design and install new traffic lane striping for the southbound to eastbound left turn lane and install the associated signal head addition iv. Design and construct a new westbound to northbound right turn lane with a minimum 235â€� allowance for storage and an additional 45â€� for deceleration. The improvements described above in Subsections 2.b.i-iv. shall be collectively be referred to throughout this Agreement as the “South 40th and Yankee Hill Road Improvementsâ€�. c. Street Improvements.ĚýOwner shall furnish and install, at its own expense, the street improvements in conformance with the drawings, plans and specifications accepted by Firestone and in accordance with the PIP.
Street Improvements.ĚýFor the purposes of this Agreement, “street improvementsâ€� shall be defined to include, where applicable, but not limited to, all improvements within the right-of-way such as bridges, sub-base preparation, road base, asphalt, concrete, seal coat, curb and gutter, medians, entryways, underground utilities, sidewalks, bicycle paths, traffic signs, street lighting, street name signs, landscaping and drainage improvements. Street improvements other than curbs, gutters, walks and signs, shall not be installed until all utility lines to be placed within the right-of- way have been completely installed, including individual lot service lines leading in from the main to the property line. Street Improvements.ĚýThis Contract is subject to the rights of the State of Minnesota, Hennepin and Ramsey County or the City to improve their highways and streets. The Contractor accepts the risk that such improvements may prevent the Contractor from traveling its accustomed route or routes for the purpose of collecting materials. Contractor agrees not to make any claim for compensation against the City for such interference. The City will, whenever possible, provide advanced information and instructions about how the Contractor may best provide services in an improvement area.
