We will have at least two dedicated telephone lines which will enable the receptionist/switchboard operator to receive calls in our name. We will initially utilize our own desks as work platforms, but will ideally establish workstations as illustrated above for all professional staff. We will also be able to utilize a Boardroom and meeting rooms in the offices, together with facilities for refreshments. We will need to acquire laptop computers for the Directors, as well as a printer/fax/scanner which can meet the needs of a legal practice. We have budgeted for the use of an accounting software programme such as Legal Suite which is suitable for a law firm. NC Inc. will need to appoint a part-time bookkeeper, as well as a firm of auditors familiar with a legal practice to ensure that our accounting practices are optimal and accounts are paid. The company is not capital intensive and the initial investment is low. We have attempted to keep our expenses and costs very low by sub-letting office space and sharing amenities such as conference facilities, meeting rooms and the like.
