Participation in Union Activities.ÌýSubject to patient care and staffing needs, an employee may be granted an unpaid leave of up to 12 (twelve) weeks to assume a position with the Union and the employee shall be entitled to return to their former position. On a leave of absence exceeding 12 (twelve) weeks, the employee would be entitled to the first available position for which the employee is qualified in order of seniority to other employees with return to work rights. This leave may not exceed 12 (twelve) months.
Participation in Union Activities.ÌýThe Employer will advise all newly hired employees, at the time of their employment, that the Union is their bargaining representative. The Employer and the Union recognize the right of any employee to become and remain a member of the Union or to refrain from becoming and/or remaining a member of the Union, and neither party will interfere with any employee in the exercise of that right.
Participation in Union Activities.Ìý1. If a member of the Finnish Seamen’s Union is elected as a delegate to the Union Congress or as a member of the Union’s General Council or Executive Committee, the employer shall, subject to the provisions below, grant the em- ployee unpaid leave for any necessary meeting trips whenever it is possible without undue detriment. 2. In each case separately, an agreement may be made with the employee in question to deduct the leave granted from previously earned compensations or other free time. It is also possible to use days of annual holiday for this purpose.
Participation in Union Activities.Ìý1. If a member of the Finnish Engineersâ€� Association is elected a member or a deputy member of the Board of the Finnish Engineersâ€� Association or STTK, the employer must, where possible without causing difficulty, grant the elected employee unpaid leave from work so that they can travel to the necessary meetings. 2. In each individual case, an agreement may be made with the employee in question to deduct the leave granted from previously earned compensation or other free time. The use of annual holidays is also possible. 3. Any travel expenses incurred by the person referred to in the first subsection are borne by the unions.

  • PARTICIPATION IN SIMILAR ACTIVITIES This agreement in no way restricts the U.S. Forest Service or from participating in similar activities with other public or private agencies, organizations, and individuals.

  • COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM PARTICIPATION Arkansas' Purchasing Law provides that local public procurement units (counties, municipalities, school districts, certain nonprofit corporations, etc.) may participate in state purchasing contracts.   • Program Participation By participating in the CRF Program, Grantee agrees to: a. Not increase any Eligible Household’s rent through January 2021; b. Waive all costs, fees and charges incurred by Eligible Households as a result of non- payment or partial payment of rent during the impacted months; c. Not consider non-payment or partial payment by Eligible Households during impacted months when considering renewal of an Eligible Household’s lease, or, share this information with other rental properties, credit bureaus and tenant screening companies; d. Not initiate new Eligible Household evictions for non-payment of rent and must suspend all pending evictions of Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent for the duration of the rental payment assistance; e. Not issue a notice to vacate to Eligible Households for nonpayment of rent until the end of the Eviction Relief Period; and f. Not require Eligible Households to vacate the unit until 30 days after such notice.

  • ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØt Participation in Drafting Each party to this Agreement has participated in the negotiation and drafting of this Agreement and the other Transaction Documents. As such, the language used herein and therein shall be deemed to be the language chosen by the parties hereto to express their mutual intent, and no rule of strict construction will be applied against any party to this Agreement.
