HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members. 2. Classroom teachers shall not, however, be required to prepare educational resource materials or exams, or to assess or prepare reports on home education students, unless such duties are assigned as part of that teacher's regular assignment.

HOME EDUCATION.ĚýA teacher assigned responsibility for any educational services to home-schooled students shall be given adequate time to provide such services within the weekly instructional assignment.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. A home schooled student is a child who is provided with an educational program solely by the parent and shall have access to educational services as provided in the School Act. 2. A teacher normally assigned responsibility for provision of educational services to home schooled students shall be a teacher with District educational support responsibilities. 3. A teacher assigned responsibility for provision of any educational service to one or more home school students shall be given reasonable time to enable them to provide such services.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. Educational services that may be required for home education students, as defined in the School Act and Regulations, shall normally be provided by members of the bargaining unit but may be provided by Administrative Officers. 2. An employee assigned responsibility for provision of any educational service to one or more home schooled students shall be given reasonable time to enable them to provide such services. A classroom teacher shall be given reasonable additional time to provide such services. 3. In the event a home education student is assigned to a classroom teacher on a regularly scheduled basis, then it will be recognized in the allotment of that employee's assignment.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. The Employer agrees to provide evaluation and testing services to students, defined under the School Act as Home Education Students as long as Ministry funding levels for these students remain in effect. 2. Classroom Teachers shall not be required to provide educational programmes to students registered under Section 13(1) (a) or (b) of the School Act unless home schooling constitutes a portion of the Teacher's assignment.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý(see Letter of Understanding) Educational services that may be required for home education students (as defined in Regulation 3 of the School Act) shall be provided by members of the bargaining unit unless more practically by a school administrator.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. Pursuant to the School Act and Regulation a home-schooled student is a child who is: a. educated at home or elsewhere by a parent who has registered the child in a school of the parent’s choice over which the Board has jurisdiction; and b. provided access to a school’s educational services in accordance with the Regulation. 2. A teacher assigned responsibility for any educational services to home-schooled students shall be given adequate time to provide such services within the weekly instructional assignment.

HOME EDUCATION.ĚýEmployees shall not be required to register, instruct or prepare materials or exams for home schooled students.

HOME EDUCATION.Ěý1. Where a school has registered a child and the parent is providing home education in compliance with the School Act, no classroom teacher shall be required to provide evaluation and assessment services to that child unless: a. the child is attending an educational program offered by the Board pursuant to b. release time, upon teacher request, will be given to enable the teacher to provide such services. 2. Normally where such services are requested by the parent, they will be rendered by a teacher whose assignment accommodates such activity, such as a homebound teacher or the time-out room teacher. 3. Where a school has registered a child/children from Oona River who is/are on correspondence courses, no teacher of the enrolling school shall be required to provide teaching, evaluation, assessment or counselling services to that child/those children.
